You are registering for the interactive class on Batik (Wax resist dyeing) or Adire Alabela.   This course teaches you how to make designs on fabric using the wax resist method. It offers you a great learning experience through clear images and short videos and provides a list of materials, tips on the craft, and frequently asked questions from our previous classes. You will learn how to create designs using the foam stamping method, dyeing one colour way and multiple colour distribution on fabric, dewaxing, recycling wax, and finishing processes. Additional information will be provided on where to source materials and tools for the art, whether you live in Nigeria or abroad, and tips on how best to succeed in establishing your craft as a business or a hobby.
