About Course

This course is scheduled to hold for two Saturdays on (WAT).  It focusses on the vibrant art of fabric designing in Nigeria today using wax resist. Several artists and workshops have sprung up in Lagos, Ibadan, and Abeokuta, where this art is carried out. This course is a must-have and tailored toward students wishing to learn the hands-on processes of waxing fabric by hand. It teaches methods of making exquisite designs on cloth using the batik method from start to finish. The course is as satisfying as being present physically with us in our workshop. Each session runs for one hour per day. Unleash your creativity and immerse yourself in the captivating world of Àdìre Alábéla- a contemporary art form renowned for its exquisite patterns made on fabric.
